Family Camp 1
ParentAs a parent, I'm so thankful my kids can attend Peniel year after year. Not only do they have a blast, but they also benefit from the godly counsel of local pastors, trusted speakers, and mature counselors. In addition, my boys have the opportunity to meet and make friends with other Christian kids, reminding them that Christianity exists beyond our own home, family, and church. To top it all off, Mr. V is uniquely qualified to make a week at camp all kinds of fun. We love Peniel!
PastorFor many years, we used a rotation of popular locations for our camping ministry, and several years ago, I decided to make Peniel our camp of choice. Consistency has yielded wonderful benefits. As a pastor, I have confidence that the teaching our children (and adults) receive and the experiences they have will be consistent with the doctrine and values taught at our church. Equally important, year after year our children and teens develop deepening affection for the camp and its ministry.
StaffWorking at Camp Peniel is always such a blessing! Whether working in the kitchen or as a counselor, I have always left a week of serving at camp spiritually refreshed. Being able to get away from the world for a week or more is a wonderful experience, and I would encourage anyone that has the opportunity to serve at camp to do so. Not only will you get fed spiritually, but you will get to build friendships that can last a lifetime.
