While most of the ladies were not able to help with construction of the new house for the VanderSchels, they can help Kim furnish her new home. For that purpose, we are planning to have a Household Shower on the afternoon of Saturday, March 14th at Peniel Bible Camp.
When the VanderSchels moved to the A-frame at camp in 2011, they had to downsize to fit into this cabin that was not originally built to be a year-round home. As they anticipate moving into the new house being built by the Ohio Bible Mission on the camp property this spring, Kim is looking forward to being able to entertain and serve visiting guests in their home. With all the extra space in this house, there are plenty of ways that that we can help.
To help us get an idea of what they could use in their new home, we have asked Kim to register at several stores: Walmart, Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and Kohls. Of course they could also use gift cards to discount home places like HomeGoods, Hobby Lobby, or Ollies where they could find inexpensive odds and ends for their new house. Gift cards to home improvement stores like Menards, Lowes, or Home Depot would be helpful as well.
We are asking each group of ladies attending to bring a tray of finger foods / snacks to share.
Tours of the nearly-complete house will be given that afternoon.
