An opportunity to gather

Each year, people from around Ohio gather together at Peniel Bible Camp to celebrate the freedoms that we enjoy in our country and to remember those who gave their lives to ensure those freedoms. All who attend this free event have the opportunity to participate in a patriotic gathering, eat lunch together, and enjoy various camp activities throughout the afternoon.

A general idea of the schedule for the day follows:

  • 11:30 AM - Patriotic gathering around the flagpole
  • 12:15 PM - Combined lunch in Ashbrook Hall
  • 1:15 PM - Activities around the camp

Entrance into the camp grounds will be restricted from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM to allow for the ceremony around the flagpole to finish. For lunch, the camp provides burgers, hot dogs, and drinks while we ask all others who attend to bring a side dish or dessert. That way, we can all enjoy great fellowship around a good old-fashioned "potluck" and spend the rest of the afternoon appreciating what God has provided in the ministry of Peniel.
