Water Line

Peniel Bible Camp has always used its own well water that required iron removal and softening. In the past, the EPA required quarterly testing of the water. It has always tested good. However, this spring additional requirements mandated weekly and then biweekly testing that became cost prohibitive. Because of these increased testing costs and increasing system maintenance, the Ohio Bible Mission authorized a camp connection to county water. The availability of a tap point on Shurr Rd enabled us to make the connection with 1200’ of pipeline. We did all the installation work from the street to our existing water system. We are thankful for a licensed plumber who gave of his time to finish the installation and enabled us to pass final inspection. County water began running throughout the camp on April 21, 2017 and is now ready for the summer camping season.

The total cost of the connection was $15,000 and has been provided.
